– General Italian classes ItalianoAllegro offers Italian language courses from the Beginner with no prior knowledgeof Italian to the Proficiency level C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The aim is for the student to acquire communicative competence so that s/he can understand, express her/himself and interact appropriately in various real-life situations. In order to achieve this ItalianoAllegro shall work on the following aspects: – Developing listening skills up to the level of being able to understand standard Italian spoken at medium speed. – Developing oral communication, with special emphasis on pronunciation and fluency. – Developing reading comprehension. – Grammar structures and the most common idiomatic expressions in Italian. – Developing useful and functional vocabulary. – Developing  formal and informal style writing abilities.   – Exam Italian classes Exam Italian classes are specifically designed for students who want to obtain the official Certificate of Italian as a Foreign language CILS, PLIDA, CELI.  Classes prepare the students for the six levels of CILS: A1: Beginner / A2: Elementary – Lower Intermediate / B1: Intermediate – Upper Intermediate / B2: Advanced – Upper Advanced / C1: Superior / C2: Proficiency. ItalianoAllegro has a study program that includes listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and speaking all of which are sections in the exam to obtain the Italian certificates. Moreover, the student can work with practice exams, just like the official ones.   – Conversation classes ItalianoAllegro conversation classes are designed for who already speaks Italian and just needs to refresh or practice the language. These classes are by far the best way to improve your real spoken Italian and listening abilities, and get to a level where you can use it in real life situations. Our Italian conversation classes, that are made for each student individually, will be at your level, studying what you need and what interests you. These classes easily motivate students to use language creatively through role-plays, conversation starters, problem-solving tasks and content-based activities. Students practice key language functions such as persuading, obtaining information, responding to requests, expressing preferences and giving commands. Numerous authentic documents, photographs, illustrations, and readings throughout the text provide points of departure for discussion, debate and cross-cultural comparison.   – Micro languages classes Micro languages classesare specifically designed for people who need to develop communicative competence in a specific discipline andconcentrate on Italian for specific purposes related to Art, Architecture, Business, Cooking, Fashion, Music, and Sculpture. Students are also exposed to Italian workplace or academic culture and real world communication practice. Micro languages classes contain the following characteristics: – Designed to meet the specific needs of the learners. – Related in content (themes and topics) to particular disciplines or occupations. – Use authentic work-specific documents and materials. – Promote cultural awareness and seeks to improve intercultural competency. – Deliver intermediate and advanced level language training.
